Wondering if your family qualifies for Free or Reduced Priced meals? Review the eligibility categories outlined below:
SNAP, FDPIR & TANF Programs
Children in households receiving benefits from Food Stamps (SNAP), the Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR), or Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) qualify for free meals.
Medicaid Beneficiaries
Children in households receiving benefits from Medicaid MAY qualify for free meals.
Foster Children
Foster children under the legal responsibility of a foster care agency or court qualify for free meals.
Head Start Students
Children enrolled in their school’s Head Start program qualify for free meals.
Homeless, Runaway, or Migrant Youth
Children meeting the definitions of homeless, runaway, or migrant status qualify for free meals.
Income Limits Eligibility
Families with incomes within specific limits may also qualify for Free or Reduced Priced meals. Call the Child Nutrition Office with any questions.
